All is well that ends well…or so we think…

Do we really understand what it means when God says in His Word, “My Time”, “Wait, “Be Still”?

We very easily throw words around like “all is well that ends well”, but have you ever thought about the fact that “ends” can mean the end of your life?  Living for the Kingdom of God means that your end is definitely going to be well, but it is really hard sometimes, ESPECIALLY now to walk in “good cheer” and with a light step.

What do you do when life as you know it and planned for is now not just changed for you but for everyone around you this is a new world?

Once the bed is made, the floor swept the online course is done, the lessons learned, chores finished, how do you plan, work, learn, teach if nothing you knew exists anymore.

My hubby frequently says that I must leave the baboons in the mountains (definitely sounds better in Afrikaans), but how do I speak and motivate and stay positive and stay silent and quiet and focused for my family if nothing we know is the same. How do I contain the Tanzanian devil in my head so that I don’t destroy my carefully lived life?

The world has become a strange place.  A place where experience in the workplace has no place and even life coaches are struggling to make sense of what is going on as we are pretty much raised to do your part and you reap what you sow, so if you sow weak, you reap weak.

What if the business you were in is intended for people to travel and the only way to see the world was to sell products, build a network, inspire, retire… no-one can travel, your salary has shrunk and everything online is expected to be for free, your simple life just got seriously complicated.

What if you packed up your house, your children started their own lives, all of us independent and thoroughly aware that the seeds you have been keeping to sow has no meaning in this strange new world.  You cannot eat from a kakibos, just like you cannot eat encouraging words and live.

I would love to hear your story about the lockdown period, see if you can write a page on your frustrations, irrations, recommendations, crazy stations and please send it to me on
